We were so saddened to hear of Babsie''s passing. She was such a lovely and kind cousin to Barry, living with her family next door to the Kaplan family on Palmerston Avenue in Toronto. Barry vividly remembers Babsie explaining to him, as a young toddler, that the way the large standup radio worked was because it had little people inside. It all made sense.

Our deepest condolences to the family. We didn''t know Babs well, however, since she was best friends with our Aunt Linda, we heard so much about her we feel that we knew this remarkable lady. She will be deeply missed.

Babs had a delightfully impish smile and a sense of humour to match. Always kind, thoughtful and filled with a joie de vivre. She truly made the world a better place. We will miss you sweet cousin. With love, Melanie, Andy and family

I knew Barbara through the WOW group. She was beautiful, soft-spoken, gracious and always with that gorgeous smile. I knew that she was very close with her nieces and nephews and reading your message I can see why she will be so sorely missed as the last of her generation. It''s several years since I last saw Barbara but I remember her well and send my condolences to the entire family. May your good memories bring comfort now and in the future.
