Back when I was younger, I remember Uncle Stanley visiting my family back in South Florida. By the time he left, my 10 year old self had an intense desire to stop eating junk food and only eat healthy. This shows how influential Uncle Stanley truly was. Besides being a great human being, taking care of others, and loving his family, he had a calming presence about him that made you feel at home. When you talked with him, you could tell he was fully present and really took an interest in what you said. Uncle Stanley will be greatly missed.

How do you write about my Uncle Stanley Someone who meant so much to me and was such a special human being. My Uncle Stanley was a fun-loving, honest, humble, sincere and intelligent person. He displayed a quiet innocence with a sincere interest in the other people in his life. He loved the sport of tennis, being a physician and being a loving parent and a devoted husband. What you see is what you get!! That''s my Uncle Stanley. He was as real as it gets. I''ll never forget his heart of gold, his beautiful soul and our family get togethers. I''m going to miss him calling me Mary and Broccoli Wednesdays. We will surely miss him. Now he will be holding hands again with Aunty Miriam.

I have known Stan since 1959, when Josh and Stan both worked at the Raxlen Clinic. He was our family doctor, friend and cottage visitor. Never did I imagine he would be my ‘machatunin’. How lucky we were to have him, Miriam and Janie become part of our family. He will be remembered with much fondness by everyone in the Fedder family.

Stan was our family doctor as long as we remember, till he decided to retire. We loved him not only because he was a very smart doctor but especially because he was a very caring and special person, a Mench! We had many friends in common and so, we had occasion to see him socially also and it was always a treat to be in his company. We know you will miss him terribly. We send you our deepest condolences. Fondly,

Marc, Glenn, Janie and all of the family and friends that knew the late Dr. Stanley Venis. Having been a friend of Richie Cohen Uncle Stanley''s nephew since I was 6 years old more than 50 years ago I have been honoured to have been able to have a relationship with Uncle Stanley to the point that I was able to adopt him and his wife the late Auntie Miriam as my own aunt and uncle. My life has been much more enhanced from those relationships. Having a very small family, it has been so very fortunate for that. Throughout the many years, Uncle Stanley, has been a steady, loving, devoted, kind and considerate person. A real mensch. I also know he was an extremely devoted family doctor - he was written up in a local newspaper many years ago on how he saved the woman''s life. Later in life, he provided valuable counselling guidance to many. I will very much miss my periodic telephone conversations with him over the last few years - Uncle Stanley being Uncle Stanley would always ask about me, my wife and my 2 daughters. I love and have always loved Uncle Stanley and will miss him very much. The world is much emptier now that Uncle Stanley passed away.

Huge condolences on the loss of such a special person. Stanley was my great uncle. He was so fun to be around. I remember visiting him in in Canada many years ago. My family and I stayed at his house, listened to classical music, toured Toronto, and spent time with the cousins. He loved eating lettuce as a snack and playing tennis to keep him in shape. Uncle Stanley was a pillar of the Venis family, and will be greatly missed. Sending lots of love and comfort during this time!
