, Due to the rapid increase in the last week in Covid cases due to the Omicron variant, we have made the decision to only allow a maximum number of 25 people plus the clergy and staff at the gravesite.
Our priority is to protect the families who have suffered a loss, the community we serve, the clergy and cemetery staff we work with and of course our staff.

GALLOWITZ, Nathan (Nat) - We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Nathan (Nat) Gallowitz (formerly of Montreal and London, England) at the remarkable age of 101. Nat passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Nat was predeceased by his beloved wife of 70 years, Yetta.
Nat was a loving and devoted father and father in-law to Sherri & Bob Sorger, Howard & Penny Gallowitz and Jeffrey & Rosalie Gallowitz. Dear brother and brother in-law to Betty and the late Hy Arlin. A much loved grandpa and amazing story teller, he will be sorely missed by his grandchildren Sendi Kone, Jarret & Ellie Sorger, Danielle & Devin Lavigne, Lindsay & Alex McKeen, Pamela & Michael Cytrynbaum and Michael & Alissa Gallowitz. Nat was proud to be a great- grandpa to Connor, Shayla and Jonah and was adorned by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Dad's wonderful PSW Jonathan for his incredible care and compassion during this past year. Nat will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited back after the service to 146 Clifton Avenue, North York or 48 Durie Lane, Thornhill. Visits are welcome Sunday April 28th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 10:00 pm at 146 Clifton Avenue, North York
