Notice:
TEITLER, Norma - On Monday, October 27, 2025, the world lost one of its brightest lights, my beautiful, selfless mother, Norma Teitler. It's impossible to put into words just how much she meant to all of us, but if you knew her, you know she loved deeply, quietly and with all her heart.
She put family first. She gave endlessly to her parents and especially her mother Rose. She had a unique relationship with her daughter, Elise. Norma and Elise were more than mother daughter, they were best friends. From endless conversations about life and her grandchildren to politics to simply checking in with one another several times a day life will feel different for all of us.
She loved being a bubbie. Her three grandchildren, Brandon, Jesse and Jonah were her absolute pride and joy. Every moment spent with them was very special to her. She loved all the special dinners together, whether it was celebrating a birthday or a graduation or simply a Friday night dinner.
She leaves behind a family that will miss her every single day that includes Elise, Brandon, Jesse and Jonah, her niece Andee, her cousin Rhoda and everyone lucky enough to have been loved by her. Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that her kindness, strength, and love will live on in all of us.
We love and miss her and will carry her with us in everything we do, just as she carried us through life with grace, warmth, and quiet but strong love.
