My sincere condolences to Ely’s family and friends. I didn’t know Ely very well but will never forget a New Year’s Eve spontaneous welcome to her home here in our building, just a few neighbours, such fun, especially Ely - funny and gracious and vibrant. This is all so very sad. I wish all her loved ones peace and loving remembrances.

Dear Leonor, Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of your daughter, Elysheva. The life-long values that she held extended to animals in need and are testament to having been raised with compassion. Ely and I shared a love of dogs and Toby and Clementine, too, will mourn her loss. If you need any assistance in finding a loving home for one of her beloved pets, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. My email address is cpmorris@rogers.com. RIP Elysheva

Such tragic news Ely. I was so saddened to hear of your passing. I met you many years ago when my friend Alex went missing. You were so touched by the story that you decided to help me get answers and were such a great support during such a trying time. I was just in awe of your compassion and dedication to the cause. Even though we lost touch over the years you still always remembered to send me well wishes on my birthday. You were such a kind soul and will be dearly missed.

Dear Ely it is with a sorrowful heart that I have learned of your untimely passing. My deepest sympathy goes out to your beloved mother, Leonor, your devoted friend, Bryan, and darling rescue pups Toby and little Clemmy. I will miss your sharp wit and the camaraderie we shared through the vagaries of many years as neighbours and friends. I will always admire your bravery and fierce determination, as you fought the good fight. My prayer is that the peace that all too often eluded you in this world, will be forever yours in the next. Fondly remembered and sadly missed. Belinda
