Dear Gallowitz family. Myself, Joyce and our whole family was saddened when our dear uncle Nat passed away at the ripe age of almost 102. I have many fond memories going back to when I was a small child and can envision his smiling face and laughter. A favorite was when Jeffery and Howard would charge and bounce off of me when I was their hefty older cousin. Of course Uncle Nat was always at the ready with his barber tools to help me trim my huge Afro. I remember uncle Nat as always having a big smile and having nice things to say to me, even in his declining years. He always asked how my family was doing and was a huge comfort to my mom i.e. his younger sister. I was glad that I did see him near the end and hope that my visit brought a drop of sunshine to his life as it did to mine. We will miss our uncle Nat.
