Dear Frankel family David and I were the first kindergarten class in Cedarvale in 1950 and our classmates were together through to graduation in 8th grade. We played together a lot and one day, by accident, David hit me in the head with a baseball bat!! OMG ! I needed some stitches over my left eye. I also remember the aluminum door on the house with an “F “ in it. I remember David fondly even though we have not seen one another since high school. Rest in peace old friend.

Dear Cousins. So many memories. David’s smile, infectious laugh, humour and wit. Chiltern Hill. Family reunions. Visits from London. Beth Tzedec. His love of music. Ricky, Gilbert, Ratland. Wingate, swimming a mile, Butchie’s hill, monopoly, careers. Love of golf. Our trips to Myrtle Beach. Lowville Heights and other courses over the years. In the immortal words of Ogden Nash. God in his wisdom made the fly and then forgot to tell us why. Perhaps, now my friend, you know the answer.

Dear Frankel family. Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of David. My parents were friends with Lou and Evelyn, in fact, my dad grew up with Lou. My earliest memories of David were at the Frankel farm in Agincourt in 1946. I have several pictures of Lou, Evelyn, and David along with my parents and my late brother Johnnie taken at the farm. Wonderful memories. Rest in peace David.
