, Due to the rapid increase in the last week in Covid cases due to the Omicron variant, we have made the decision to only allow a maximum number of 25 people plus the clergy and staff at the gravesite.
Our priority is to protect the families who have suffered a loss, the community we serve, the clergy and cemetery staff we work with and of course our staff.

GINSBURG, Isaac - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Isaac Ginsburg - born in Brest-Litovsk Poland on October 8, 1925. Isaac died peacefully at Baycrest nursing home Toronto on August 3, 2024 at the age of 98 after a long journey with Alzheimer's. He is survived by his wife, Hilda, his son Avner, his daughters Shiphra and Ophira, son-in-law Stuart Lewis, and his beloved grandchildren, Maya and Sage.
Isaac was an electrical engineer who worked for the Department of Transport, Government of Canada for 40+years. He was an adventurous traveler in his youth, and loved books and music. Isaac was known for his incredibly dry sense of humour, and for being the quietest person in the room that everybody wanted to talk to.

There will be a graveside funeral Monday August 5th 2024 at 11 am at PARDES CHAIM 11818 Bathurst Street, Vaughan, ON, Canada
Shiva following the service until 4pm and then from 630-9pm on Monday August 5th and from 630- 9pm on Tuesday August 6th at the home of Shiphra Ginsburg and Stuart Lewis, 51 Douglas Ave, Toronto
